My drawing and painting life

Quick face

A quick face. It was late, I needed to do a drawing after all. I drew lying on my back (at first), when it was starting to look rather nice, I sat up. But it was really liberating to draw like that at first.

To be honest … there’s quite a bit of spit on this page. I wanted to make the ink in the pencil become more intense and just put spit on my finger and smudged. Not perfect, but effective. 🙂

I declared at the start of June that June is Face Month. I try to do one each day and share two or three times a week. This one is about a week old. I did two faces since. I didn’t succeed this week, obviously. I did practice drawing, though. And it’s okay. 🙂
