Little tree – on my art table

Inspired by a class by Dar James – Stained glass trees – I’m working on this little canvas. I can’t wait to get back to the studio to continue!

You can find Dar James’s class on Carla Sonheims platform for online classes. Dar is a very inspiring teacher.

in fact I’m trying out what colors I like on these tree paintings. And to keep it simple, I did two similarly shaped paintings, just differently colored leafs.

What do you think, warm or cool, which one pleases your eye most?
