Fireworks for the drawing club

Dec10 11 Pastel resist night sky #2a UtrechtI’m happy. Moving ahead with the drawing club for teens. Next Thursday I’m starting a new series of lessons. Fun!  We’ll make art work like the piece above.  I made it at the end of December of 2015 as part of my year of daily creating. This piece draws heavily on a lesson by Diane Culhane in the Sonheim Presents free Summer Camp for Kids 2015.

The main technique used will be the resist effect when you apply water(color) over wax crayons or oil pastels. This is going to be fun.

Posted before on this blog as part of my Year of Daily Creating, December 2015, under the theme Dark and Light.
