My drawing and painting life

One house landscape

For the final two days of the challenge I’m sharing some more recent paintings. This one, “One house landscape”,  I didn’t like very much the day I painted it. It kind of grew on me during the days after that. Day 29.

After days and days of really dark paintings and more complex – but stupid – landscapes I ended up painting simpler paintings.

Yes. There’s also a two houses landscape. 🙂

Lessons learned. Blending the colors on the painting itself to get the darks. So happy with what I learned about making darks and greys during this series. Keeping it simple this time.

Love the skies in both of these, very dramatic 🙂 One house is wonderful in its simplicity. Two is more friendly LOL
