My drawing and painting life

Fairy tale squares

Some days while starting some square paintings I went back to take inspiration from fairy tales, looking back to stories from the Year of the fairy tale, but using my newly acquired taste for the square painting and these paints I’ve been using.

The frog princess. 20×20 cm

Red and the wolf, 20x20cm

I have a thing for that wolf character. Perhaps that sprung from seeing a play with my life partner playing the wolf, singing wonderfully about his troubles as a wolf trying to find his softer side. Red was more interested in the darker, wilder part. Haha.
