30 paintings in 30 days – day 6

I’m joining Leslie Saeta in her challenge to make and / or post 30 painting in 30 days this September.  Over the past few months I gathered enough materials to share more than 30 paintings, especially during the period I worked on the 100 paintings. I’ll start by sharing my tree series. For an overview see the September 3 post, ’30 paintings in 30 days again’.

Among tree paintings some paintings are abstract and others are more representational. This is obviously on the abstract end of the spectrum. To my mind it belongs to the series, as it led to the next one I painted, which is more representational and obviously a tree again (see yesterdays post).

Check out Leslie Saetas 30 in 30 blog for all the wonderful art that has already been shared in the first few days! And to find out all the details on the challenge of course, if you’d like to join too. If you want to join the challenge too, go to Leslie Saetas page with all the details.

Love that deepest blue, the transitions and the textures. Wonderful 🙂

Thanks Sheila. Oh yes I love that deepest blue too. Probably phtalocyanine blue – a new fave of mine. 🙂
