30 paintings in 30 days, day 5

The 30 paintings in 30 days challenge. I’m joining Leslie Saeta – and hundreds of artists from all over the world – in her challenge to make and / or post 30 painting in 30 days this September. Over the past few months I gathered enough materials to share more than 30 paintings, especially during the period I worked on the series of 100 small square paintings. About one in 10 of the 100 paintings series was a tree. I’ll start by sharing the tree series. Among the tree paintings some are more abstract and others are more representational. For an overview see the September 3 post, ’30 paintings in 30 days again’.

This one is rather dear to my heart. Whenever I look at it, it makes me smile.

Check out Leslie Saetas 30 in 30 blog for all the wonderful art that has already been shared in the first few days! And to find out all the details on the challenge of course, if you’d like to join too.

If you want to join the challenge too, go to Leslie Saetas page with all the details.

PS To catch up I’m posting twice today. To not clog everyone’s timeline I’m sharing about one in every three posts on Facebook for the time being.

You have been painting daily for such a long time! I love the interpretive style of this, and how the form just sort of fades on the right. The muted tones are soothing, I can see why it puts a smile on your face Corinne 😉

I love your observations, how you put them into words. Thanks so much. ❤
