My drawing and painting life

Fairy tale summer has begun!

I have been doing the square paintings for some time now. This morning I started out painting abstract, but just couldn’t resist painting some fairy tale scenes.

While listening/watching the first video of Fairy Tale summer – well knowing what was going to come – I just had to paint a scene from The Frog Princess.

And making two paintings, the other one turned into a scene from Red Riding Hood. Only Red has lost her hood and has red hair instead. 🙂

Love the red hair ❤. Funny for some time now I’ve been thinking about making a square journal… there is something inspiring in square art for ne currently.

Thanks! Well, obviously I am on your side – making square paintings – having done 36 of them by now (!). So why not make a square journal. Even from printing paper? Go girl!
