My drawing and painting life

Drawing from Paul Klee

Lesson K from Carla Sonheims ‘Y is for yellow’. We are studying Paul Klee’s grid paintings. THe idea was to do three, think about warm and cool color, do a study using only three colors and one totally free. I only managed one grid painting so far, one in which I used only three colors (pink, yellow and black). Doing it took a bit of concentration, but in the end I was in the zone, layering and layering, making the parts smaller and smaller.

I am most happy with the colors in the center, where the effect of layering the colors are most clear.
