My drawing and painting life

Big Blooms Paintings in progress

Early June I returned to a big blooms painting I started in March. I made some changes, covered up flowers and table top. I wasn’t happy with the large peony flowers bottom left. But now the table top seems rather empty. I will play with that more later on this month.

I also started a few more paintings, making toned backgrounds first. I even covered paintings I did two years ago. Now they are only a memory.

[June 3 and 5; #277 and #279]

PS Catching up on posting. I have a sore shoulder, so I will be cutting back on writing for a while. I will not be painting big for the same reason. Ah well. Life happens. Back to the small paintings. 🙂 I am loving them.
