My drawing and painting life

Drawing this weekend

Just a quick post after a long tiring weekend. No time for painting or  writing posts, but I am still doing daily art. I can’t seem to stop, even if I want to. Yesterday and today I tried drawing by using an eraser. This is an assignment for the E lesson of “Y is for Yellow” by Carla Sonheim.

Above drawings were done on tracing paper. I also tried on ordinary printing paper. Didn’t like the result as much.

I will share other results later.

I like your attitude to keep drawing…and experimenting with eraser! Have you tried charcoal and using a kneaded eraser to remove for the lighter tone?

Thanks so much, Marlene. I haven’t tried charcoal and eraser yet. But I have used the kneaded eraser. That’s a great tip, thanks!
