My drawing and painting life

Alice shocked

Feb14_inspired by Janes illustration

Pen and watercolor on sketchbook paper

What happened? Alice sitting up after she stopped tumbling? “Oh my, where have I ended up. Where did that rabbit go?”

I tried to copy a drawing by Jane Davenport, free-handed this time, just to feel how she works. I didn’t know if it was going to work, but got happier as I went on and decided to add paint. Then it suddenly came alive for me. Janes drawing of the girl was the basis, but I moved away from it a little by choosing my own way of adding paint and surroundings.
