My drawing and painting life

More birds

Left: “Bird Peace”, watercolor, black pen, gesso and charcoal. Started on Dec25, finished Jan4 (day 126 of daily creating). Right: work in progress.

I am painting daily, but not finishing a painting daily. Some of these have taken 5 to 10 layers before I am happy.

The one on the right is in progress. It needs a little bit of something, don’t know whether I will only add some charcoal or do more layering.

Awesome serie of imaginary animals, Corinne. The owl is promising, doesn’t need much more.

Thanks, Kathrin. That’s what I thought. I am trying different approaches and different papers. They seem to take the watercolor differently.
