Day 20 Back to Black and White

Drawing male face. 30x40 cm, sketching paper. Second session.

Drawing male face. 30×40 cm, sketching paper. Second session.

Remember the drawing I started earlier, I put in at least an hour more work the other day to enhance the values and get more likeness. “I will sleep on it to decide whether it’s finished”, is whatย  I thought when I left it. But I am already very happy.

At first I hardly dared touch the earlier drawing. To get a feel for the face again,ย  I did some oneliners drawings (continuous line drawings) first. I am most happy with this drawing. ๐Ÿ™‚
