Day 18 drawing

Sep18 Dir line sketch_0001_Crop

Directional line drawing, WIP, pencil in sketchbook.

This is me practicing directional line drawing, a technique introduced in the Scribble art course, by Julie Johnsons (love it!). Taking the technique to draw the picture of a teacher in a different course (Lynn Whipple teaching Word Play Painting).

Some of it is a bit too dark, other parts need work to get it lighter perhaps. The shirt is all black, but I got tired of putting all that in. I didn’t dare put the eraser in out of fear of wrecking it. But I am leaving it like it is now. Tomorrow there’s another day. 🙂
