My drawing and painting life

Day 4 Some days drawing is harder than others

Two more men on day 4. Taking time for a contour, speeding up for oneliner drawings. By number four I was smiling and really loved that man.

I decided to try another face, another contour drawing. I looked and found a wonderful photo of an Indian man. Then it got hard. I took time to do a proper contour drawing. I was not happy. Not at all. I was suddenly a lot more critical of my results. Doing many usually helps to take away the pressure. So I did some more oneliner drawings.

I will look at them all at a later date, to see how I like them.

PS This was not my best of days. 3 days out of 8 I was nauseous this week. I may have eaten something that was bad for me. I cancelled some plans, tried to relax today. This was fun anyway!

Edit September 25: Question for anyone visiting. If I would turn any one of these into a painting, which one should it be? Let me know in the comments, please. 🙂

I think you are doing awesome Corinne! Tell that inner critic to go bother someone else! 😊

I’ll give her a cuppa tea while I do my next painting. 🙂

    Your one-liners are really striking.
