My drawing and painting life

Simple pleasures

2014-11-04 12.44.47 Colors for my parrot 1 (2)The other day I was preparing material for a nice project. I can’t talk about it yet, but it may involve collage. So I made ‘painted papers’ to provide myself with some nice collage matter. I spent an hour or so putting paint to paper.

The simplest method to get it on the paper quickly is spreading it with an old credit card (a museum card in this case). I wanted to have the primaries (red-yellow-blue) and some secondary colors as well.

I couldn’t help myself, had to add neon pink and yellow to some paint already on the papers, to see what would happen.
